The 2024 Global Partner Conference of China Shipbuilding 725 Institute and the inaugural meeting of the Board of Directors for the Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering New Materials Industry Research Institute were held in Luoyang on June 26, 2024. The conference aimed to prioritize value creation, further deepen industry collaboration and integrated innovation among customers, suppliers, innovation teams, and other relevant stakeholders within the supply chain. Together, they sought to drive the transformation and development of new high-quality productivity while generating incremental value for all partners involved. Ultimately, their goal was to establish a mutually beneficial industrial chain and supply chain ecology. Wang Haichang, Deputy Director of the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, along with Wang Guohui, Deputy Mayor of Luoyang City Government, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Additionally, Wang Qihong, Director of 725 Institute, delivered a welcome speech while Xu Jian, Deputy Director, attended and presided over the meeting.

Director Wang Qihong delivered a welcome address, emphasizing that 725 is committed to the strategic focus on "high-end products, manufacturing informatization, and brand internationalization" in order to enhance productivity with superior quality and pave the way for industrial development. The aim is to collaborate with global partners in gaining insights into prevailing trends, devising long-term plans, embracing the future collectively, and fostering a new era of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The conference recognized and honored 60 outstanding domestic and international suppliers in 2023, hosting an award ceremony for 10 gold medal recipients and 20 silver medal recipients. Additionally, a cooperation signing ceremony was held with strategic customers, strategic suppliers, and members of the innovation alliance, resulting in a total collaboration value of nearly 1.5 billion yuan.
